Mohit Malhotra left Godrej Properties Ltd. after 12 years there, spending nearly 6 of those years as the company's Managing Director and CEO. His goal is to establish India's premier residential platform.

Over the last 20 years, Mohit has developed a profound understanding of capital management, project development, and property administration. He is a leader with an exceptional capacity to imagine and execute "Large-scale" company. Over the course of his incredibly fruitful 12-year career with Godrej Properties Limited (GPL), he contributed to the addition of over 90 new projects totaling 150 million square feet. Sales climbed a staggering 30 times during this time, and Mohit is credited for turning the firm from a relatively obscure participant to a market leader.
Under his shrewd direction, GPL gained USD 1.5 billion in new deals (9 times more than in the preceding five years), and its market capitalization increased from USD 1.5 billion to USD 6.2 billion (34% CAGR; compared to 18% for peer groups). GPL's Net Promoter Scores improved by +75% over the same period, going from -20% in FY18 to +55% in FY22. Meanwhile, multifamily sales climbed by +30% CAGR (2017–2022), outpacing the industry average of +11%.
In his role as CEO of Godrej Properties, Mohit made the company the dominant force in the national market and a pan-India leader in each of the country's four largest cities (Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune). During Mohit's leadership as CEO, Godrej Properties Limited was also named the Best Business of the Godrej Group in 2018, 2019, and 2022. In 2017, the Economic Times listed Mohit as one of its "40 Under Forty," and in 2018, WCRC Leaders Asia named him "India's Most Trusted CEO." As the Head of Business Development, Mohit joined Godrej Properties Limited (GPL) in 2010 and has played a pivotal role in the expansion of the company ever since. After Mohit was given extra responsibility for the P&L for the NCR region in 2012, GPL became the biggest developer in Gurgaon based on sales in just two years. In April of 2017, Mohit assumed the roles of CEO and MD, having been selected as an Executive Director on GPL's Board of Directors in 2015. Mohit held rewarding positions with A.T. Kearney, Unitech, Redevco, and Unilever before joining GPL. Mohit holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kolkata, and is a mechanical engineer.
